Your home likely has a driveway, and this driveway is likely either made of concrete, asphalt, or stone pavers. You likely have heard of stamped concrete, but have you heard of stamped asphalt? What Is Stamped Asphalt?

Stamped asphalt is like stamped concrete; it is pavement that has decorative patterns and colors on it for purely aesthetic purposes. The flat, smooth blacktop works just fine, but if you deeply desire to have that paver driveway look at a lower cost, you could go with an asphalt one that takes on different colors, patterns, and motifs to suit your fancy.

How Is It Made?

The asphalt paving professional heats up the asphalt surface until it is soft enough to mold. A pattern template mostly made of wires stamps onto the surface repeatedly until the full pattern emerges. Color is added to the surface accordingly.
